I'm not sure what the dealer did but if this thing is normal thread then he must have used brut force to keep this thing on. cuzz it ain't moving.

Is it reverse threaded???

No. Should turn left when looking at the right side of the block.

If you can't get it off, try a smaller strap wrench from underneath. Try using one with rubber grip enhancements. If the filter is clean and it just laughs at you, try hammering in a long, stiff thick screw driver about 10mm from the base of the filter. then try wrenching it. Those caps that hook on the top of the filter are usually useless since most filters aren't made right to mate very well with them.

Be advised if you use the screwdriver approach you will wreck what left you have of hte filter. I used that approach once on a POS Ford diesel and I believe another time on another car. I didn't know that you're supposed to hammer it in at the stronger base — and nearly ruined the filter such that it would have been impossible (nearly) to get it off.

Get the car up on a lift or in a bay/pit where you can stand underneath the car. When the filter is really really on there it's not something you do on some skimpy jack stands.

Yup. A strap wrench is your best bet.
