Hello All!
I just purchased a slightly used 750 (2006)
the previous owner paired he's phone. I can not get to a phone option in the settings? All it says is "Phone Connected?"
anyone have an idea of how to pair my phone with the car? The phone is a Samsung A900, I searched the board and the phone works with the car, but not all functions.. thanks!!!!!
if i remember correctly, you have to go to setting on menu, select phone and then pairing. Make sure your phone blue tooth is turn on and seeking for new device. In your owner's manual there should be a card with a password for entering into your phone. Mind you, I'm typing outta the top of my head so pardon me if I'd missed something.

Thanks Cuki,
When I go to settings there is no options for 'phone'.. Like the manual or the vid on the BMW website suggests.
I am stumped!
that is strange bman, because I just ran out into my car and verified that there is a 'phone' option in the setting menu (southwest corner of idrive). Something's not right then.

There is a 4 digit code that you have to enter into your phone. Which phone are you using? You need to make sure the BT is turned on (on the phone) then when it finds the car you will need to enter this code. Once done, as long as you don't turn off the BT on the phone, it will pair everytime the phone is close enough to the car. One problem I have run into is that my phone is never far enough away from the phone when I'm at home. The car answers my phone all the time!

don't forget, not all bluetooth phones are fully compatible with bmw, they may pair, but won't download the address book, I know the motorola V3rzr, 815 or something and the blackberry are the best options for these cars, hit the.. hold on, turn on the bluetooth function on in your phone, go under menu> settings> connectivity> bluetooth>find devices, enter your code after it finds the car and hit the voice command button on the wheel, and tell the car " menu> phone>address book> update, hope it works.
