The ones I've seen are grey, tan, black, and Modena (orange-yellowish)

no black and red...or even red for that matter to swap parts to make a black and red.

colors to the best of my knowledge are

black
Dove/mulberry (two tone light and lighter grey)
tan

supposedly the red interior that was available for the e36 was called "oxblood red" or something like that. i think it was only in europe though.

the only interior colors ive heard of people having in the US are dove grey, black, sand/tan, mulberry, magma, modena (the last 3 available on M3 only), and champagne (available on 328 "exclusive edition").

on the ETK, it lists many more possibilities though.

There was a redish interior, but it was an individual thing so they'll be few and far between.

is it leather or pleather?

I have beige and it looks like leather. But is it just vinyl?
