So many people have their fenders rolled on various forums, but I can not find a place to do it (and I do not want to do it my self). Any help would be great!!

a Body shop would be the best place to start. Or a high Performance Wheel shop.

Im trying to find a place to do my fenders as well. Ive called almost every body shop, wheel shop, suspension shop and who knows what else locally and nobody does it. I didnt think I would have much luck here and I was right. Looks like Im going to have to come down to Atlanta for it to happen. I need them done very soon. More info on a facility for the service would be grand!

I did. I was told the only way they roll the fenders is if you purchase wheels+tires from them.

I also spoke to the Marietta Butler location a year and a half ago and they still did it, whether you bought rims or not. I think that's ghey that you have to buy rims and tires to be able to get your fenders rolled. You figure making money is money just to charge rolling fenders by itself. At one time, Geordie mentioned they stopped doing it due to a liability issue(screwing up the rolling or damaging the paint), but if they still do it only if you buy a package, that doesn't make any sense. They can still screw up if they rolled it wrong.

That would be BimmerDawg(Geordie). I think somebody said that NOW you have to buy wheels and/or tires to get them rolled.

Calling all Geordies to confirm!

Geordie works at the Doraville location not Marietta.

Battleground rolls fenders and I think Allspeed does as well. I remember seeing that posted here before a while back, but Battleground is a lot closer if you live on the Northside. I think Allspeed is in the boonies in ghetto south Atlanta.

Allspeed is in P'tree City, well south of ghetto-ville.

Everything past downtown Atlanta and near the Airport on 75/S is all ghetto to me, especially if you have to drive past the ghettoness to get to a nice area like Peachtree City. I'd still rather live in Alpharetta if I had to choose. The entire drive through the southside sucks. It all looks so crappy.

Plus traffic is worse than the Northside now.

There's a local member here that can do it for us and I spoke to him about setting up a fender rolling day (of course he'd charge a fee per car, but it would probably be less than what you'd pay elsewhere and he has the professional tool) but I have to speak to him about it before I can confirm it.

That's definently true. My commute from Marietta to downtown is 20 mins. Easily drive 75-80+ mph the entire way down before they closed down a lane on 75/S. Now 400 coming into downtown is a different story. That traffic is all jacked up.

I remembered there was a dude who owned or worked at a shop here once who offered the use of his tool for mad cheap, and everyone jumped on him for charging the "GA community," even though it was WAY cheaper than Butler at the time. Same dude?

I have a wood baseball bat at home that works great.

Butler quoted me $100 / fender about 2 years ago.

I also remember someone that rents out the tool but can't think of the name. Geordie would know.

Yep, That was me getting bashed. Yep, still got the fender roller. Still willing to rent it out for $75.00 a w/e roll as many fenders as you like.

Hey David
I think thats a great idea and whoever bashed you needs to rethink what they said. I don't see why people would expect you to just give it out for free, you own a business.

How hard is it to do? When I talked to the person at one of those shops today they told me about how its a very high risk about the paint cracking on the fender? If its not hard to DIY I would rent the tool from you and do everything myself.

It is not hard to do. Takes some patience in not trying to do to much. You always risk cracking the paint especially if the car has any previous paintwork in the fenders. Hair dryers/heat guns help though I have seen people burn the paint with heat guns.
Your more than welcome to rent it. Have a party and do all the cars you wish. I only use the tool on race/de cars so paint craking is not an issue.

Thanks for the comment Ali.

Yep, lots of patience is required. Ron and I did mine with a baseball bat, a hair dryer and about 2 hrs. Worked like a charm. I was really suprised how easy it was.

I'd be down to roll my rears. I don't know why my 225/40/18's rub when taking hard corners or dips. My rims aren't wide.
