The 5.0 is not as valuable as the 5.7-
Most of the 5.0 changes over the stock 850 are cosmetic in nature

This car is a noted Synter conversion to Alpina spec, and depending on how you feel about that...may be or may not be considered a true Alpina.

Nothing was done by Alpina in Germany other than shipping parts to Synter.

This. All true Alpinas are LHD are they not? Still an interesting car though I guess.

My dad and I went to look at another Synter Alpina a couple of years back (a blue one with an M Sport bumper). At the time it was up for £20k and was well over-priced considering the poor condition it was in. The dealer wouldn't let my dad test drive it either despite the fact we'd driven a good hour and a half to come and look at it! :mad

(for clairty, I am NOT talking about the Silver one shown above)

CSi money for roughly the equivalent (accel., HP) of a Wokke V2 chipped M70. Desirable 3.45 final drive though, assuming its LSD.

Hadn't ever seen a granite silver 8 series before - those pics just about floored me....I didn't think I could like the 850 any more than I already do...
