I have a set of 4 AC Schnitzer type III wheels I am going to be selling in a few weeks.

The Specs are as follows:

17x8.5 ET15 Monoblock Alloys
They come with 5 Original ACS hub rings (Orange) (4 for the wheels + 1 extra)
They also come with ACS Center caps.

One wheel is brand new/never mounted.
Other wheels have minor scuffs on them (such as the one in the photo, at the edge, about 1 in scuff))

I used three of them at various times on my E31 with no issues. They bolt on directly as their offsets were made for the E31.

Looking for $850 OBO. Local Pick up would be fine, located in Philadelphia, PA.

Pictures on car? Do they come with tires?

It is a feeler hence why it is not a formal for sale with nice pictures etc. When I get more free time this weekend, I hope to get better pictures etc and make a formal for sale.

Here are the same wheels (same diameter/offset/size/finish/etc):

Here are the exact wheels (front) while I was swapping around on my E31.

Note, as I eluded to in the OP, these were actually my spares for my E31 and E38, while 19in Type IIIs were my regular use. I would swap them on temporarily while waiting for new tires, etc. I am selling them because I have another set of wheels for swap on/off purposes and can use the funds for something else.

No tires, I can include some Bridgestone tires, but the price will jump a bit...You must realize these wheels cost over $800 EACH new...check yourself at http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp or with CEC. And (as Randy can attest to) I never scrimp on tires! (If you are wondering why they cost so much, they are TUV approved ACS original wheels, quite lightweight at the same as my ultralight Mtechs, and quite strong/durable, German made under Ronal Contract and not some cheap asian junk).

Why is it that all these great and unusual rims are available these days? An 850 can wear only one set at a time!!!

Lol, tell me about it. I have 3 sets of wheels for just my 8. New rule is no more then two sets a car.

Buyer could not come up with funds and (I assume) backed out since I have not heard from him.

Back up for sale!

Did you sell the McLaren SLR wheels? The wife is interested in a set for her SL..

As with these wheels, I had three "buyers" lined up and waiting on paypals that then disappeared.

You have an R129 correct? The SLR rears are too wide for that body. They barely fit on the R230 body cars. The R129s really can't do much more then 9.5in, 10 if you are lucky (and have the factory "wide wheel arch" option) in the rears.

Best (and cheaper) bet would be to get a set of Lorinser wheels. They are made in Germany under contract by Ronal, the same company that makes most Schnitzer wheels (and many nonBBS BMW factory wheels).

Question: I have these wheels 17" 97 528i... Where can I get the bmw center wheel caps? Went to the dealer but the standard size didn't fit... Thanks.
