I had my trac control abs module fail. Codes 105 brake light switch signal and code 115 pressure sensor interference. I attemped to repair myself but due to the fact it was a bosch 5.7 unit all I really did was crack the plastic cover.I sent it off to BBA ( I saw on ebay ) and for $95 I was back on the road again. The turn around time was very fast, 4 days.Im back on the road again. What a great price to.

Search for them on Ebay. They start their auctions at $95.

Wait around. They'll probably have another cheap one some time soon.

Don't hold your breath that they'll fix it. If they're honest with you they will tell you they are only able to fix about 25% of them. It's always worth the effort though since you won't be out anything. They didn't tell my buddy that success rate was only 25% until after they called him to tell him they couldn't repair it.

jnyost , they already fixed it and the turn around time was 4 days. 3 and a half if you consider I got it at 12:00 . I installed it and it is working perfect. Not sure what your friend had going on but im very happy with the product. You should be more positive ,Im sure you have some problems with your store , or maybe

My comment wasn't towards you. I saw that you already got your fixed and gave you a big thumbs up earlier. This was in response to the recent post for the person looking for the cheaper ebay auction. People often get their hopes up and then get mad when they can't be fixed. It's funny how these places won't let anyone know the success rate until you are the one who owns an unfixable unit. If you know the odds up front, you won't be disappointed if it can't be repaired, but you'll be ecstatic if it does. I think it lets you be more realistic and look at it more positively when you know what to expect.

I always recommend people try to get them rebuilt. Since they have a money back guarantee, the only thing you are out is shipping costs and a little bit of time. I think that's a good risk to take if it can save you money. Never did I say to not try them.

My friend didn't have anything special going on. It's just standard success rate. Not very many of these can actually be repaired. You'll find countless threads of guys who got theirs back as unrepairable, or BBA thought they had repaired it but it still didn't work. You'll also find some who fail extremely early even if they worked immediately after they got them back. I'm not being negative, it's just facts. Also, look around for some pics of the insides of these things. It'll make sense why not many of them can be repaired. Dirt, grime, heat, moisture, etc.....

I sell new ones, not rebuilt ones, so I don't have that problem.

Got it , jnyost . Im just very happy of the repair , they also sent me a flyer of other products and rebuilds they do. So for other people who do you recommend for rebuilds.

red5spdtouring , it looks like the special is over. I would call and ask if the would do it for that price. Here is their phone number. 1-866-573-2740
The next thing for me to buy are head light adjusters. $100 for both sides.Ebay you know. By the way jnyost nice web site ,and the metal head light adjusters you have are nice.

I would always try BBA or MM (or both). BBA seems to have good deals when you can find them on eBay. MM seems to be a little higher priced. I've heard some horror stories about some of the other "rebuilders". Some guys have found a complete mess inside when they tore it apart after an unsuccessful repair attempt. Once again, ALWAYS try to have yours rebuilt. It is much cheaper if you can do that. Only buy a new one if you have to.

Thanks! The metal ones are hot sellers. Finally got more in stock the first of the week. Already shipped half of the order.
