Nice! Its not easy to get a stock 540i, especially with the open diff, to slide well.

I find it most impressive because of the lack of a LSD... With mine, the sliding seems so random. Sometimes it will go sideways (which is awesome) and sometimes it just lights up one tire and stays in its regular track. I think it might depend on what type of pavement you are on but I can't even tell really... maybe it depends on the cars mood hehe

+1 I think it has to do with surface, when to nail the gas (right on the apex) and most important how tight your suspension is. Cuz if its as soft as mine then body basically unloads the inside tire, letting it burn

Duckman540,we have the same car. Tell me about your setup please.

What kind of springs (part #) and shocks and where did you get them from?

Also, how much difference noise wise is there between Y res/muffler delete vs Y res delete/muffler delete? Cuz I have straight pipe from Y to back, now im thinkin bout deleting Y too.

As far as suspension, I have H&R Race springs with the stock Sport struts.

The car is bone stock, with the exception of the cut exhaust.

My last 540i I did just the muffler delete, and it was almost as loud.

With the resonator delete, it does get louder, as well as more raspy. I actually think it's too raspy when it's cold in the morning. After the car warms up and gets to full operating temp, it sounds sweet though! The rasp goes away completely after the car warms up. I have about 25 more videos of my car. I'm just waiting to get my editing software to work, so that I can setup the video right. I will be posting more videos.

No brake problems here.

I wonder what kind of issues you were having?

Hahaha, my car actually feels like a 528i.

I'm at 5400ft. elevation.
