    AVH-P4000DVD Bypass

Does anyone know how to bypass the Pioneer AVH-4000DVD unit to allow playback of DVDs, etc. while the car is in motion?

    this is what I found...

Customer fullfill a 528t pulse timer relay. Then wire up as follows.
    Red - Constant +12v
    Black - Ground
    Black/white - Accessory +12v
    Yellow - Ground
Orange - To parking brake wire of deck
    Brown - Unneeded.

Peripheral PTR7 will work. It comes programmed for the alpine bypass but will work on the pioneer if you only use the wire for the ebrake.
