Thought this might be of use as a “one-stop” thread for people looking to modify their exhaust setups.

I’ve attempted to consolidate exhaust sound clips and relevant mods (headers, pipes, CAI, Cat/resonator deletes, Forced Induction) on all Z models members have posted – working video/sound links only. I apologize in advance if I did not accurately describe what you are currently running, posted a clip that is no longer relevant or otherwise left out important details.

Please note updates/corrections/new modifications/clips/etc. in the thread and I will revise/add/delete listings and information. Here is an excellent article that compares many different exhausts, rates all aspects of their quality, finish, etc, has sound files for their sound and has a dyno run for each different system and compares to stock.
The test car is an e36 M3, but it is close enough to compare to our cars.

I finally put on my ebay header. I had them thermal coated as well. I get quite a bit of the famous S54 rasp, especially around 2400 rpm. I'll probably add the AR20 resonators down the road. Enjoy.

Here is my custom Magnaflow setup on a 2001 3.0. I used dual in/out muffler to avoid combining 2 into 1. I also replaced the factory resonators with an x pipe.
