    TRM stage 2 Pics

Well, here they are. Its a cold rainy day in TX, but I don't think anything could ruin my mood this Friday.

I would like to mention that Mike did an excellent packing job on everything, especially the intercooler pipes to ensure nothing was damaged in shipping.

There are a few extra parts in these pictures because these boxes actually contain parts for another kit also, going on an E34 525iT 5 speed.

Stage 2 turbo with modified compressor:

    Tial bov:

    Motor Mount bracket:

    FMIC core:

    SPA manifold:

    I'm psyched!

    Thanks Mike!

Has anyone ever dyno'd a TRM stage 2 kit?

    Love the black piping.

Wow looks great! I can't wait to see numbers. Then I just might have to buy a kit soon.
    How much was stage 2?

    TRM mmmmmmmmm good

If your M3 doesn’t have 3 pedals and 2 doors, I would really consider contacting BMW to confirm the authenticity of your incorrectly badged mid-sized family sedan.

I won't even begin to guess. Still have to replace my '95 retainers and do a few minor things before I start. Also still waiting on a few more items.

Has anyone ever dyno'd a TRM stage 2 kit?

Yes, but only in Atlanta I think. I won't comment on the dyno numbers because I'm not sure if they're definitive or not. I will dyno and post numbers at some point.

    Love the black piping.

Same price as stage 1 for the hardware, IIRC.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

really depends on other parts of the equation. (what CR, built motor or not, what fuel, etc...) most make between 350 rwhp and 600 rwhp.

we've made 600rwhp on a stage 2 using a stock block and head with a thicker head gasket and race gas. Low boost (6 psi) should make around 350 rwhp. There is so much variance in compression ratios, exhausts, and other factors that affect overall power that is difficult to give specific numbers in general.

    The hardware is $5500.

The tuning cost is the same for either kit, as is the price of either kit. The only difference is the turbocharger itself. (stage 2 is larger.) the decision between the two should be made on the intended use of the car. The stage 1 systems are instant boost, stage 2 will have more lag, but can make a lot more power.

heh. I stopped taking it but I used to have that problem. Good observation.

I didn't realize 350hp was attainable at 6 psi, I'm even more excited now.. wastegate spring is higher than that at .5 bar
