Peake r/5 code: FD

The manual for the peake says:

fd- EVAP shutoff valve stuck closed


Is this the Exhaust Gas Release Valve? or the Secondary Air pump valve?

Both worthless systems, BUT...

Im at my wits end here!
What parts am I needing? and where do they go?

Or just tell me the technical name!

I just got back from a friends smog shop and was told there is no EGR system in the car. OK?

He told me it is a small valve on top of the charcoal canister to the top and just right of the intake boot.

Or the small valve with 2 hoses (one blue and black) the is to the bottom left of the intake boot, connected by a small metal hanger on the manifold.

The evap shutoff valve is located in the trunk, under the spare, attached to the charcoal canister. I had the same engine code, replaced the valve, and everything is gravy.
