We just finished the dyno pulls on Tommy's M3 to verify the HPF750 turbo kit installation and power numbers. It is around 50 degrees outside today where our kit will make quite a bit more power than we advertise. His car made 652rwhp on 110 octane race fuel + methanol, and 589rwhp on 91 octane pump + methanol.
Here's a dyno graph of the "SAE corrected" numbers. This graph doesn't show the actual power like the first one does, but it adjusts the power based on conditions so that any future "SAE corrected" dyno graphs can be compared against each other.

Can you post one with a readable boost graph?
Sweet numbers HPF
Wow. Would that 91 octance tune be similar to a 93 octane tune?
What kind of TQ numbers also.
Very cool. That car is badass looking too. I love Pheonix Yellow.

Go for it, if you have the money. A used decent e46 is going between 28-32k...so let's say you pick one up for 28 add 18k for stage 1 + installation or something like 20k for stage 2. Then add up 2k for shipping costs back and forth. And you have somewhere along the lines of 50k.
Now the 135i, don't we have rumors that baseprice is about 35k? So chip and mod is about another 5k? And then you save yourself 10k with only about 150 hp less then the m3.
Can't wait to see the numbers on the Stage 3 setup! Those are great numbers for a stock internal S54! Chris, these runs were on 12 PSI?
I'd be curious to se what meth+ 93 would do... probably close to the pure 110 figure
Thanks.
We're detuning all M3's to run with 91 octane. We just don't want someone to drive across state lines and not be able to run the fuel available, so there will be no 93 octane tunes.Originally Posted by Schneller Bayer
Thanks. Those numbers were done at around 12.5-13psi. The stage 3 setup will be very cool, stay tuned for more details on that.Originally Posted by Bigsalgt
Yes... On the dyno graph on this page, the baseline dyno we used was from Kevin's M3 which we dynoed last week. Tommy's was a bit higher, and Raj's was a bit lower. Kevin's was closer to the average so it will be the one we use from now on.Originally Posted by sfhondapilot
