God your car just got sicker. I love it
Good luck with this build I can't wait to see it done. If ya ever need any help let me know I'm one town over.
Really looking forward to seeing more. I think I might have mentioned in one of your other threads about the piping, but this is very similar to the kind of turbo build I'd like to do someday given the time and money.

Good stuff man, I can't wait for more progress!
The parts layout pic had me drooling.
This looks like its going to be a really nice build and end up being really clean in the engine bay.
Good luck with the rest and keep posting those pics!
Nice Chris, you're going to have a SICK setup!! Question, how long is that muffler? I had to use a 14" to clear the rear tire and do a smooth 6" radius bend, and that looks longer then an 18".
And why the hell did you not drain the coolant when you pulled the head??!
Great choice on your parts.
Best wishes...
Alex
who is doing your Chip tuning??? this car was so clean when Diego had it, I am sure you are taking care of it~!
Thanks for the comments everyone.
My driveway is already destroyed, so I didn't really care about a little coolant spilling out of the head. The muffler is a 24"er
A local shop, EPL-- www.eplabs.net will probably be doing my chip tuning.
And yes those strays are a bitchh
The reason you drain coolant is so that it does not get in the oil and sit with the bearings. It fucks them up badly and quickly. Rather sloppy not to drain it.
Have you tried fitting the muffler? I had to get a 14" body, the 18" would not fit. Well, it depends on how tight you want to bend the pipe, personally I want a high flowing exhaust thus I didn't want to use anything tighter then a 6" radius.
Why didn't you have Jon do the rest of the exhaust when he had your car?
Best of luck
Its cool, you build your car your way. I'll build mine, my way.
The crank doesn't rest in oil. How would this effect the bearings?
Muffler hasn't been fit yet, but seems smaller than factory backbox. No reason it shouldn't fit. I'll be doing the exhaust because it's alot more forgiving then the downpipe. That is something I can easily do in my driveway with my MIG.

Parts look great, 666 Fab. designs/fabricates very nice parts. That D/P looks very well matched for that exhaust manifold and turbo. Looking forward to more pictures when possible!
Looking forward to this car....
Lovely high quality parts.......
Looking forward to pics...and progress report
Nelson Mandela borrowed this from Marianne Wilson in his 1994 inaugural speech - "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am i to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. You were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within you. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
Great looking parts. Can't wait to see what that s50 will make.
