Got my P39 Projectors and a Digital Camera! PICS (56k = Its a wrap!)

well, i got my p39 projectors finally and i gotta admit im pretty happy. I added the xenon option for an additional $275 and its worth it. I snapped some pictures at the airport cause i happened to be in the area and some in downtown san jose cause thats where i live. Anyways, enjoy!

They're not HID fogs.. just regular old bulbs that i got from some tuner shop..

Beautiful car. Also, I'm looking to buy some P39 Projectors from Umnitza for my 540i. Sorry for asking a noobish question, but what is the difference between the regular projectors, and paying the extra $175 for Xenon? (I think the Xenons are gas charged, correct?) I would just like to know the visual difference between them. Thanks, Corey. P.S. Sorry for kind of derailing your thread. :P

The xenon lights are 10 times brighter than the regular projectors. The actual housing is the same it think. So just get the xenon and be happy .... back on topic

Was this a rip and replace/plug and play install? Or was there wiring involved. I assume these don't set off any dash lights? Info please

Well, the total price came out to about $600 i believe. Amazingly they only charge $7 for shipping and i got the order within about 2 days of making it.

Now installing them was another story. I was willing to install them myself but i had two issues:

1. There were no directions included with the healights.
2. I didnt know how to wire the headlights so that the angel eye rings would be on with the parking lights.

So rather than to take the matter into my own hands, i figured id rather have it done at my friends shop. I paid $95 to get them installed. Not bad, Umnitza was charging $200 to install, plus i saved a headache.

just don't wanna do santana row during the weekends when its super packed....
