Quickest street BMW in the states

Here are the the later timeslips from yesterday at MIR. I have some changes to make on the car but I hope to have all of the safety gear installed and get back to the strip ASAP. Feel free to put a link to the video, I haven't seen any of the 10.6X passes yet. Big thanks to Sean Ivey for making some nice power and keeping the car from blowing up and Tom P from Driven Innovations for the CNC and design work on the new intake manifold.

I dyno'd 650whp on friday but the ignition was breaking up at the track. I dropped the boost and gapped the plugs down to make these passes. I would estimate ~580whp

    Mike -

    Great results!

Might Kenne Bell's "Boost-a-Spark" device help address your ignition issues?

Congrats Mike! It was nice to finally meet you. Your first run sounded like you were breaking up up top but you seemed to address the problem in following passes. You really know how to launch that car!

Nelson Mandela borrowed this from Marianne Wilson in his 1994 inaugural speech - "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am i to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. You were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within you. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

The breaking up passes were ~ 11.1@128 then I lowered the boost a few psi for that pass.

It went 10.61@136 when it made a clean pass with 5psi lower boost.

    Holy fuckness....that is simply amazing...
So what was the boost level you actually did them on???

Mods: Carbon fiber hood, headlights with angel eyes and 14000 Kelvin HIDs, blacked out/smoked tail lights and side turning signals, smoked front corners...and thats about it
Ohh...and some "bolt-ons" here and there........K&N air filter, m50 manifold, rouge trans mounts, a few V-band clamps, few silicon couplers....etc...etc....

In the video it sounds like it's popping a little in 3rd and fourth, maybe it's the echo off the wall..... you have an open wastegate?
