Thumbs up THE BIG BLACK DYNO NEVER LIES! - HPF customer takes his car to the strip!

The Big Black Dyno Never Lies!
    11.412 @ 131.20 MPH
New World Record For e46 m3!

    HPF750 Stage I Turbo System
    HPF IS FOR REAL FOLKS!

Give it up to Rob for taking his HPF e46 m3 to the strip!

So here it is folks! An HPF customer took his car to the ¼ mile! Look at the lowest ET and highest trap!

Since he is not a member, I will post the information for ROB!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first pass sucked bad. I tried to use the e-brake to get a good launch, but I think that gets the traction control involved. It took at least two second before the car would go past 3,000 rpms, but even with the crappy 12.88, I was at 132mph through the traps.

The third pass was a redlight only by .06, can't even blink that fast. I ran an 11.59 to my 11.60 dial-in, so it would've been a break out.

The fourth and fifth passes were time only, since I already lost. I was a little more relaxed and could think about what rpm I wanted to launch at. My fourth pass was the best, running 11.41, with a 1.95 @ 60 ft. Trap speeds where all between 131 mph and 133 mph. I was running 275/40/17 Nitto drag radials on 17x9 wheels, and they seemed to hook pretty well. A little spin of the line, but no slip in second. A good driver might be able to get the 60ft times down to 1.6, but my goal was to drive my car back home instead of tow it. I didn't get any video which wouldn't have made much difference, since our crappy track no longer has reader boards to post the times. I took pictures of my timeslips to post them, so hopefully they will be legible. Click on the thumbnail to see the time slip, this was was my best pass.

I figured someone would spot that date. On the 5th pass you look at the top you will see "Welcome to Nitrofest 2007" and is dated Sept. 14, 2006, which is also incorrect. I promise these times are from last night. The maintainance of our track has gone to about zero, and they spend most of their time trying to keep the tree working. I was backed off the line three times so they could fix their damn lights. I honestly don't think they have anyone capable of fixing the date on the timing system.
You will also notice the 1/8 mile time lights don't work on the tower side.
Sorry there's no vid to go with this. I actually brought my video camera and a new tape, but even after charging the battery on Friday it was dead. Now I know what i'm getting for Christmas .
The track is Spokane Raceway Park, which is AHRA approved, but not NHRA.
I was running 13psi and 114 leaded race fuel. ( Trick Fuel brand )

    SECOND PASS

    THIRD PASS

Sweet. I think that you''re right about being the lowest ET for an E46 M3 yet.

Pretty sure they are asking Rob the owner. It was pretty clear that it is about Rob's car and that he drove. He just isn't a member so he wouldn't be able to post links, etc. even if he became a member due to his post count. Besides, this is absolute proof that this kit is what it says it is.

HPF proves their kit. This is the quickest and fastest E46 M3 on the planet as far as I know. Go Rob and Go HPF!

    c6 w/ flux capaciter
    60 ft was steadily improving...

Get to that good solid 1.6

Think that would trim to 11 or really high 10's

This is really impressive for a completely stock motor/compression e46 m3

    Great work and product..
Nelson Mandela borrowed this from Marianne Wilson in his 1994 inaugural speech - "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am i to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. You were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within you. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Awesome. Looks like with some more practice you'll hit the 10s. Are you going to get their Stage2 when it comes out?

    Wow thats awesome

    I want one so bad...

They should come out with a kit for z3/z4 M coupes. Seems like they would just need to change some of the packaging, but could reuse many items. That would be a sick weekend car!

He said that since he is in Washington he has to put the car in storage until Spring. He will then get Stage 2!
