***Update*** There are links to youtube videos of all three pulleys from stock to 15psi in this post. Engine is holding up fine but drivetrain problems continue to plage this setup.
I'm getting ready to run the 15psi M44 for the fine people on this board. I have a 1997 318IS with a M44. Modifications are DASC with 3.6", 3.4" and 3.2" pulleys. Exhaust work to remove restrictive pieces, cat simulator, Snow performance Water/Meth injection.
Next week I'm flying to Pompano Beach to get my DME flashed with stage 3 firmware from Nick G and installing his injectors, etc for stage 3. I will start with 10psi pulley and if all is good I will go for the 3.2 pulley which pulley boys states will make 15psi. Nick has recomended against this and thinks the engine will come apart plus he has never tested his setup over 10psi. I have a LC-1 and EGT installed so I can get out of it quick if it starts eating the tops of the pistons. I expect to have everything upgraded by Saturday morning and will report results at 15psi with video.

Good luck!
Sweet.
Sick...Best of luck.
15psi is close to the max that a M62 can put, without being highly inefficient...
for god's love, if you run 15psi you'd need more than a stg3 from nick to supply a correct air fuel ratio... I wish you put "simply" a megasquirt with big injectors instead to go with NickG stage3 and then make a dyno for see if you can go over 300 engine HP...
then you should really think to have some 85mm forged pistons with H-beams rods... great rods for our engines can be found on ebay right now... search
otherwise some mitsubishis have 85mm pistons. match a great rod with right lenght for compression height of those pistons, buy a VAC headgasket and you're done...
I'm getting ready....I installed the 3 1/8" 1995 M3 Air Mass Meter and a new big cone shaped K&N that I tucked behind the left headlight. I've got all three pulley's (3.6, 3.4, 3.2) and a extra belt that's a tad smaller for that 15psi pulley. Currently I'm seeing 9.2psi boost with the stock pulley (3.6") and snow performance W/M injection which I assume is sealing the rotors better on the DASC. Getting ready to go for a ride to see if the M3 AMS throws a few CEL's
I can't wait to see this! just make sure you have PLENTY of fuel and be sure to pull your spark back a bit till you get a handle on what it will handle. Good luck by the way!
Enough chit-chat... let's see some numbers!
The car runs like total crap with a M3 AMS (USA - "MAF") and stock DME for 318. I drove to the auto parts store and purchased some 1995 M3 NGK spark plugs and I'm parking it until I have Nick flash the firmware on the DME. Taking out the DME tomorrow night and heading to Nick's on Thursday. No numbers to post because I don't have a dyno but video will be filmed for each increase in boost. I will do a 3.4"(10psi) pulley run and if all is good I will go for the 15psi pulley. This is only a test of 15psi on Nick's stage 3 on a 15psi setup. He said don't do it and has no idea what will happen but I think he is interested to see what happens anyways. If all works good with 15psi. I'm moving to a forged dish low compression pistons, strong H-rods and ARP bolts all around, plus anything else I can think of that will add reliability. I think 15psi will create so much heat from the supercharger that the charge heat will kill any gain from more boost but no one will know unless I try it. Anyways I'm trying it for $hits and giggles and so the board members know what happens at 15psi. I plan to start heading to the local 1/8 mile for some bracket racing and will pull numbers from their timers. I have a G-meter in my Pioneer N3 so I will see if I can pull more than .6 G's casue that's all I have right now.
I did race a nice BMW 530 last weekend and he was pulling on the top end but never got by me...plus I gave him a 3 cars on the start and was past him by 3rd gear. Not much of a kill but it still counts. Hahaha

I just got back from meeting with Nick G. What a great guy!! He was very informative and shared information about multiple things. He stated the stage 3 I purchased will handle around 240 rear wheel HP with 30# injectors. If I plan to run 15psi perminately I need to find a good way to aftercool the charge at 15psi and he would work out a custom DME map to handle the 15psi if needed. Of course he still thinks the engine in stock form will not last long and I agree but I'm not scared to try it for one run. I'm locating parts for a forged internal rotating assembly but all systems are a go for 15psi this Saturday on a stock mill.
I can't express how nice and informative Nick was and he took the time to explain how he pulls the maps and disassembles them then tweaks and reloads the firmware. Very interesting stuff for me.
I fly home tomorrow and will start assembly Saturday morning. I have a baseball tryout for my son at 9am so testing will begin around 12pm with wife filming on a back street close to our house.
Can't wait
