UPDATE 8-06-07 Dyno can be found here
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=803366
After prowling the FI forums for a long time, it feels incredible to finally be amongst you fellow boosted bimmers. I was finally able to get my car running yesterday after a few setbacks (large vacuum leaks) which prevented me from finishing the install sooner. Turned out the traction control housing had a crack in it which is why it couldn't seal well with the throttle body housing. So I ended up just taking it out. I went to RRT today and found that there is still a small vacuum leak from the clip behind the m50 manifold (I'm in the processing of jb welding the clip as we speak) but other than that the car is running perfectly!
The powerband is incredible and it feels like it'll never stop pulling! Marco was right, I already want more boost
Here are a few pictures of the kit and the install. Ever since I purchased it I've had a huge grin on my face and now it's even bigger

I'd like to thank Marco for helping me throughout the entire install and convincing me to go with the Active Autowerke C38 Kit and to everyone on this FI board who helped me with various questions I had concerning the install.
I hope to have a dyno by next week and more pictures as well

congrats!!!! ...upgrade to stg.2 ?
NICE, idk why but i dont have the AA symbol on my pulley? im glad i could help you!
slow
The symbol's even on my stg 2 pulley. You have to concentrate really hard to make it out while the engine's running though
Maybe it's just because your kit was earlier in the production line than ours.
Tochenzo it looks like you were inspired by my old-bed-sheet-on-garage-floor photo shoot style.

Marco, is aa going to make a c38 for the m50? Should only take a straight forward chip tune, everything else stays the same.

for brakes, lines and pads will be fine. Rotors don't hurt either.
But don't feel obligated to buy a BBK, that's not needed. Save your money.
Congrats dude. Can't wait to see what she makes.
