| X3, X5 & X6 (E53, E70, E71, E83) (2000 - current) BMW invented a new word when they introduced their SUVs to the world: Sport Activity Vehicle. Sportier and with more car like agility than the standard SUV, with all of the hauling perks for a more active lifestyle. Introduced in 1996, the X5 continues to be a hit. The younger sibling, the X3, was born in 2003. |

Help with Cargo Liner for X5
Folks,
I posted a few weeks back regarding the choices in for rubber floor mats. You were all extremely helpful. I decided to purchase the new OEM rubber mats from a BMW dealer in Cleveland, Ohio (via Ebay). They were $70. Not a bad deal. I need help again. I'm looking for a decent cargo liner/trunk mat for our X5. This vehicle will spend 8 months/year on Nantucket Island - being subjected to lots of sand and beach crap in the trunk area. I found one on eBay that looks decent. See link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6755 Can anyone comment on the Weathertech or any options? I have the WeatherTech in my 2001 A6 wagon and I like it a lot. Thanks for your help. -Ted basile_edward@emc.com
