Saw new m3 yesterday

So I saw the e92 M yesterday at the mall. It looked . . . big. The styling was decent, just big.

spotting a new M3 is more likely to happen in NJ then in Texas. speaking of which...watch out for the engineer shooting around in an E60 Diesel....he's a prick behind the wheel.

I kid you not. It was a new m3 pulling into the mall near my house in Austin. It was a silverish light blue. e92 bodystyle, m3 badge, quad exhaust, vented hood and some sick aftermarket rims.

I believe you saw an M3, but not with aftermarket wheels. BMW wouldn't put "after market wheels" on a test mule. Cool sighting though.

Thats just it, most people wouldn't know. Die-hard BMW fanatics like you'll find here don't comprise the majority of the population of the United states. I'd say 95% of people (Men) you showed that car w/ no badges or emblems wouldn't know what it was.

I think they're 335's made to look into the new M3's to give people visuals at dealership and on the roads

I would believe it if they had pics of dash, engine, interior

I see future BMW's here in So Cal all the time. I saw a M5 almost a year before it came out, it was debadged except for the side grills. You knew it was a M5 by the rear bumper. Tried to get the driver to roll down the window but he just waved me off.

c'mon i mean maybe some people wouldn't know the model(M3), but even people in Sudan know what two kidney grills is linked to...but i guess i would be surprised with results if US was polled on the make of car

Isn't delivery of the first M3's scheduled towards the end of the year? If so, demo cars should start arriving at dealers pretty soon.
