1991 - 1999 (E36) (1991 - 1999) The first modern 3 Series, the E36, was the model that paved the way for the 3 Series to be named "Car of the Year" every year since the model was driving off showroom floors. Radically redesigned in 1992, the E36 was not the same 3 Series as the E21 and E30. Larger, less boxy in design, and equipped with a dual overhead cam engine, multilink rear suspension, and a more finished interior, the E36 balances sport with luxury.

You know you DON'T drive an e36 when...

That "you know you drive an e36..." thread has been up forever, even though it is quit possibly the best thread ever made, i though i would change it up a bit, and try the OPPOSITE.

You know you don't drive an e36 when...

You meet the mininum balance requirment on you checking account.

You dont have any "check" lights on in your car.

You havent been checked out by a chick while driving.

You have a house.

You only have one car year round.

You dont have any speeding tickets.

You have a solid relationship with a girl, and they say you DO give them enough attention.

You don't drive an e36 when you set aside money into your savings account.

I accidently filled up my tank with 87 the first day I got it because I didn't read on it and wasn't thinking of course. Now it's the premium of course, but does it really matter what's used if your just driving it from place to place? I know a handful of bmw owners here that don't fill up with anything special lol

Standing still in traffic sucks, be it in an M3, M5, M6, M9756854 with 734-speed manual or 318 auto ( though auto makes it somewhat more relaxed )
