OFFICIAL Northeast Summer Shores Meet - June 9 - Hammonasset State Park, Madison, CT

Hammonasset State Park, Madison, CT (Map)

Time:
2 pm start time, until whenever

Plans:
Meet up at the park, have a meet and greet, barbecue. Have a cruise at 5 pm or so, getting back a bit before the sun goes down. (Route to be determined)
People who are close by can come by for the meet and cruise. People farther can either camp at the park, or they can stay at one of the nearby hotels (if they don't take off for home).

We will rent a pavilion for $150. I'll front the money, and accept donations ONLY up to $150. Entry to the park is $9 for CT-registered cars, $14 for non-CT registered cars. A campsite is $15 + fees.

I don't think that I'll be able to make this one...I have a friend coming in from out of town and we are going into the city to see a show. I do think that this is a great spot to have regular meets tho...a nice drive and a day at the beach...what could be better? I would be happy to chip in on pavillion fees the next time around...and seeing that this seems to be a..er ehem..."green" friendly crowd...even better. Have a great time guys!

Hey guys newbie to the forum but not to cars or BMW's, (i'm a tech at BMW of Peabody MA) still working on whether to get the 328 coupe or bite the bullet and get a 335.... (yes i know it's really a no brainer but tell that to my wallet haha) but anyways... if someone doesn't mind having a passenger I'd like to check things out and meet everyone.
