Date:
June 9th
Location:
Hammonasset State Park, Madison, CT (Map)
Time:
2ish pm start time, until whenever
Plans:
Meet up at the park, have a meet and greet, barbecue. Have a cruise at 5 pm or so, getting back a bit before the sun goes down.
I can try to get sponsors to go.
People who are close by can come by for the meet and cruise. People farther can either camp at the park, or they can stay at one of the nearby hotels (if they don't take off for home).
We can rent a pavilion for $100. I'd front the money, and accept donations ONLY up to $100. Entry to the park is $3. A campsite is $20.
(All of those prices are what I've been told, not 100% sure).
Any input?

Mmm Carmen's car should be back by then and mine is a permanent fixture of his Boston abode, so I might be down. Be a nice prep, for the TMS meet the next day up in Amesbury.

Ok, I'll get the specifics set, and make a thread.

yeah, if anyone near by can just drive through and check their cell service, that would be great. usually close to the ocean the service range drops.![]()

They said there is sprint service there.....not sure how much I believe them, though.
Anyways, I have some updated prices:
$150 to rent the pavilion for a day, which has 6-7 picnic tables.
$9 admission per car for CT residents
$14 admission per car for non-CT residents
~$15 + fees for campground site
Who's still interested?
ima try to make it to this
Bump.
Any more input?
If I'm driving from MA I really don't wanna pay. It costs me at least 25 bucks to drive there! I personally don't need a pavillion and I will bring food for myself and the group. I'll still throw a few bucks if everybody really needs a pavillion but I don't think it should cost more money for non CT cars. Were the ones making the long drive to support the cause.
I'm in 100% i'm only about 10-12 miles away. i'd be willing to go and help set up if you wanted some help.
Since your the grimreefer do you have good nugs? If so then you can bring them to the picnic along with the bimmer.
I'll be there
lol no everyone asks me that, that's a real M3 I'm sitting in in that picture...but *hopefully* my new 335i will be in on time for this meet![]()
