    MMmmm thats nice(new set up)

    I researched and found a company to make it and today I Got my new clutch.Its a 3 disc set up rated for 1200 ftlbs of tourqe.
    I also got a few things redone another trans and a few other goodies.

    996WHP 2.8 and going nowhere fast

    nice clutch, but whats with the significance of the keyspan device? you have a serial device you want to connect to a usb port?

    scroll over more and you will see the tec 3 which is a serial device. :})

    Hey Ulyses, did you ever have Vic make that new change to your tec that i asked you about a while ago with the relocating of the cam sensor? i havent and was curious if you had yet or not.

    Yes while the car was down I sent the tec to Vic to have it redone.The car was running great I will be turning the boost up(35-40psi) in the near future and I want to be able to control individual cylinder timing and fuel .Vic is a great Guy and stands behind what he sells.

    Paul The keyspan is so I can use my new laptop the old one battery only stayed good for about 10 minutes.

    Ulysees, I know you havent driven with this new setup yet, but how do you anticipate it will handle street duty? Is it going to prevent you from driving around town because its so twitchy and aggressive?

    They said after driving the set up I had There will not be that much of a diffrence.I have gotton pretty good at working that grabby bastered.

    Cool, I'm interested in hearing more about this triple disk clutch. Not that I need one, but it's nice to have options in the future.

    Thanks Ulysses. Am I remembering right that prior to this you were using the FX700 which couldnt hold past the 996whp, and then what were you using when the tranny went?

    The fx700 was a proto type of upgrades and higher pressure.Your correct it held till 996 and started slipping but the car was making in the mid
    800 of tourqe at about 5600-5800.

    New Tec3? I suppose pretty much every ECU is the same anyway, but hell, I'd probably go with MoTeC or Autronic on such a highend build like yours.
