need advice on RE exhaust....

Guys, I'm just too busy to search myself. Does anyone know where I could get the Rogue Engineering exhaust with the best quality service at a cheap price?

I live in Hampton Beach NH and hopefully you guys know anywhere near that might be of good service.

thanks for the help!

NiTE,

no sound clips unfortunately, I never thought of doing that. new project when I get back I guess. It doesn't drone when cruising the highway or local. Some people have talked about it, droning but I don't have that issue or I don't know what to look for.

But it does burble....you know what I'm talking about here. It's got that awesome burbling sound that just makes everyone's head turn when your rolling down a street to see what that monster is coming down the avenue. We're talking big time attention getter with sound here, if you don't want to be noticed...you don't want this system.

Fitment issues? Never with the Rogue, it's a perfect install every time. It comes as a two piece kit so it's even easier to install by yourself on your back in your garage under your car. Maybe you're thinking of the other dual can system on the market? That one was redesigned because of fitment problems.

The sound is very very very aggresive, that's one reason why I like it. It's not honda obnoxious in any way, it's nice and deep and puts other systems to shame. After I heard this system, I took off my SuperSprint and installed this one and I haven't looked back.

I compare it to having a new mustang V8 growl with a german accent. Very nice and very commanding. The view of the dual polished stainless steel cans is also a nice site from behind the car.

I've yet to hear this system with my 3.2, but the 2.5 was just crazy. I have several people in my area now who own one simply from hearing/seeing my car on local roads. They were sold on site.

I know the bavauto show (by you) had several cars with this system, that would have been your best bet. Maybe when there is a big North East meet you can see a couple systems running around.

If I can get one for my Tahoe (believe me I tried) I would have one on there too!

-Ron

hey?!

I thought you guys say "Live Free or Die!"

doesn't that apply to freeing up your exhaust too?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. There are plenty of riced out Honda's, and such, with coffee can exhaust, for cops to mess with!!

excellent choice Jon, there is always a supersprint, much quieter and still a sporting exhaust if you're concerned about noise levels.

always a nice choice but a little heavy when compared to the newer designed systems. I used to have one and it sounds really good when you whind out the motor - I had it on my when it was dynoed and standing behind the car at 131mph (indicated on the speedo but strapped down on the machine) just made the hairs on my neck stand on end - it was great. Wish I had the rogue then, but there is always round 2.

the RE get's its sound (just a guess here) by the two cans being a straight through design with stainless steel wool packed into the cans around the perforated exhaust tube in the can.

a great sounding systems either way you look at it.

now the problem, BMP, the distributer aren't a favorite of mine when doing business. :

Yea Ron, I heard a brief clip of the RE on Ben's 330ti...but I think i need to hear your car when its ready. HMS sells a Supersprint pipe for an M50 Ti that utilizes the exhaust I have, but I am definitely going to look into an RE in case it is too restrictive for the 3.2. The dual cans would look sweeet on the hatch

Im thinking about stromung too, sounds really deep in the low RPMs. Dado's Brullen exhaust is really nice... I was watching mischief 3000 yesterday, its supposed to be really loud though
