i met ryan at texas supra meet a year ago...The damn fuel pump is sooooo loud..lol...The good thing about Supras are...even though you dont hit boost until 5500-6000 rpms...lol...with a turbo THAT BIG...The 2JZ-GTE is a non-interference engine..and you can turn 9100 rpms safely.......lol...Before..when I had my supra..I was going to let Titan motorsports install a Boost logic T-67 kit...They hit full boost at about 3500 rpms..which is not too bad..considering mine was a Built automatic with only a 3200 stall....

Christ, Cody's car is not an auto! It is a stock 6 speed just like Ryan's. They both run Weldon pump, that is why they are so loud! In that video Cody is making 1200+rwhp, and is running a 325/50-15 MT ET Drag Radial on a Bogart D-10 wheel, same setup as me! He rolls those tires off still. That car has run a best of 8.86 with Woon driving it instead. Cody's best pass in his car is a 9.06 with way more to go. No nitrous. He is still on the stock 3.0 displacement in that video. Virtually the same exact setup as me, except my turbo is a tad smaller.

Here is another video of his car on the street as well. I don't think you need myspace to see it, or do you?

Kenny, yes it would be nice if we could fit such tires under the fenders of a BMW!

The GT47-88 on a 2jz 3.0 is quite laggy actually. For a better reference of why stroked 3.4 and 80 is better than a 3.0 and 88 is this video here. The in-car is of the 3.4 and 80 versus the other Supra with the 3.0 and 88. The stroked Supra gets to start in 3rd gear at 70, whereas the 3.0 88 has to start in 2nd gear at 70! The race is from 70-170, both cars making north of 1100rwhp. By the way, this was a money race.

OK, that settles it. It's almost time to sell my car and go for an M Coupe street/drag car.

I have thought of this numerious times also. I still might do it later on down the road. My plan would be to swap all my turbo stuff over to an S52 Mcoupe though and take the current M coupe motor and put it in my M3 and sell it.

I plan to try out the pt76gts anyway since I paid to have it 2000 degree coated and polished. It will be used but I will let you know when it is for sale.

That's an idea. I've already done so much to the car though that I think I'll sell it turbo'd.
