No pics of progress on the car but imagine new front brake hardlines and a completely removed front and rear suspension.
However, I did buy the Corvette filter/FPR which I am going to be using.
Here are some pics for future reference of the Corvette filter/FPR (NAPA Part #3737) and the Dorman 800-120 and 800-121 the connectors for the inlet side of the filter. I couldn't find Dorman 800-155 which connects to the filter outlet.
I had no idea how compact the FPR was

Why did you need to replace the brake lines?
I had no idea you you could get quick disconnects on the fuel lines can you set this up for the fuel filter as well?
both front lines had some damage to them so I replaced them - as long as the car is all apart why not
That is the fuel filter as well

Not quite engine conversion material.
Not trying to sound like an ass, just a lot of people fought to have this forum. Just hate to see it cluttered with OT and the forum get revoked.

He includes the FPR, hoses and fittings (or not if you don't want them). He does not supply a fuel pump.

how this fittings work without leaking? When this fittings is used on inlet side fpr I can simply connect here stock e36 rubber lines?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ocrvaw3d4UM Dont drive over limited speed!!! Drive safely......
They work without leaking like any other quick disconnect fitting, or like injectors, or like...
When these connected to the FPR, all you do is slip the hose on the other end. Don't forget that the outlet from FPR uses yet another, different type of connector.
You will not be able to use BMW rubber hose #1 because most of BMW line is a hardline, and #2 it is smaller diamiter and will not fit. You will need to use bigger size Fuel Injection rated hose to connect the FPR with BMW hard lines.

The factory line is 5/16, those fittings are 3/8 and 5/16, you can use 5/16 fuel injection hose on both, it's a bit tough to put it on the 3/8 fitting, but it is doable.
I'm using the exact FPR and fittings, because I'm a copy cat. Question though, The BMW return line bypasses the the filter. Is it supposed to be connected to the Corvette FPR? If so, what do you do with the rest of the line going back to the tank? And where it says "inlet" isn't that the filtered, regulated fuel supply? Or am I looking at it backwards? Side with the single line towards the engine?

You are making to too complicated
The "Inlet" is where the high pressure line from the tank goes.
The "Return" is the return line to the tank, you can use the stock line, but it needs to be shortened.
The Corvette FPR is also the filter, so you odn't need another filter.

This is the direction I plan to go..but am confused as to why some have tapped new fuel lines to the tank and run new lines. That seems like a lot of extra work. What am i missing here?

You are not missing anything. The person whose link you posted chose to run new lines but that does not mean you have to. The stock lines are sufficient.
All you have to do is connect it like Rao mentioned above. Remember KISS is your friend and I'm not talking about locking lips either.

Stumbled upon this thread, great reference.
The double bead hard line on the output of the Vette FPR (Dorman 800-155), is the 12” length appropriate for fitment on the E39? Too long and it’ll overshoot the connection to the factory, too short and you’re out of luck. Just making sure before I order.
I ran all braided teflon lines through my car with -AN fittings on everything and onto the tank. I figured this time I would do it all properly.
