Anyone up for a Eastlake/Chula Vista bimmer get together?

i think someone set something up like this 2 yrs ago and I missed it cause i had to go overseas. i was thinking of setting one up to make up for the one i missed.

nothing fancy, just bimmerheads meet and greet for an hour or two in the evening. plus, i'd like to meet other bimmer folks in my area... i see them driving, never know who they are...

TIME: Feb 9th, Friday @ 6:00PM

LOCATION: Parking lot between Walmart and Chic-Fil-A. (There's only one Chic-Fil-A in Chula Vista) Maybe we'll grab some food there or somewhere nearby.

Hmmm.. that depends on your definition of "good" ... how about Rubios? There's a Rubios near that Chic-Fil-A mentioned above... next to the Pick-Up Stix on the other side.

That sounds fine, when I think about it, its true about the availability. Its always open!!

I totally agree... El Gordo is awesome stuff... but that drive way will cost me $500 to repaint my front bumper. I only dare enter El Gordo in an SUV.

As for when we'll do this... I think today is a bit short notice. I want to let the list grow a little more... how about Feb 9th? Around 6PM-ish so that people going out that night can still leave around 8ish to go to where ever they are going.

Are you set on mexican food? 'cause personally i love the chicken at Chic-Fil-A. But as far as mexican food goes:

1. Hector's seafood - what use to be wanna taco. it's now a nice sit-in restaurant

2. the mexican food place by the exxon station near VONS on Telegraph Canyon. I can never remember the name, but the food is good. again, it's a sit-down place.

3. Rubios! Do people consider that mexican food?

Hey, so are the BavAuto springs re-branded H&R? Just curious... I installed H&R sport springs on my Z3... and I feel it sits too low.

They sit alittle higher than the H&R's. I had previously bought H&R Sports but decided against it when I saw another members E36 with 18's and the sports on. It sat waaaaaaaay too low.

On food, im fine with anything. Its not like we have to hold each other's hands here and skip into the nearest taco shop. We can all grub on whatever.

Hey... can't help with the Wii... i barely play video games even though I have a PS2. I probably won't get a PS3 until PS4 is out.... that's how "behind" i am with video games.

As for the M5 bumper... I don't know much about them regarding fit and what not. But, if you'd like to take a look at a BMW salvage yard, check out www.autobahnparts.com. They are in El Cajon.
