| X3, X5 & X6 (E53, E70, E71, E83) (2000 - current) BMW invented a new word when they introduced their SUVs to the world: Sport Activity Vehicle. Sportier and with more car like agility than the standard SUV, with all of the hauling perks for a more active lifestyle. Introduced in 1996, the X5 continues to be a hit. The younger sibling, the X3, was born in 2003. |

X5 towed for the 2nd time... wtf is wrong?!
This is really starting to piss me off. The first time this happened was under similar circumstances, the car had slightly less than 1/4 mark for the fuel level, but the refuel light hadn't come on. Same thing happened today, and it's in the garage again. The car started as if it were choking, and it smelled like the engine was running really lean. Anyone have this happen to them? Is it maybe a faulty fuel tank sensor or gauge?
