They never mass produced a 4-rotor engine. But with the way a rotary is, it's not hard to "stack" it and make a 4-rotor. I've seen ones stacked to 6-rotors.

E46 M3 body maybe, but certainly not the chassis.

That thing is crazy! I'm curious as to what it would run fully setup.

I don't understand the reasoning of rotary's in a BMW, but whatever floats your boat.

Great car...minus the weird marriage.

I think it's been stated before that it's nowhere near a BMW besides the look of the outer shell. No BMW engine, no BMW transmission, no BMW suspension, frame probably isn't even BMW.

Rofl, rotories (especially 20B's and custom quads) sounds like they are trying to self destruct with any kind of decent port on them.

It's a Lenco manual transmission with air shifters.

I like it, though they woulda been better off with an RX7 body. It's smaller, lighter, and its a mazda so the rotary actually belongs in there. Then again its cool to make something special and original.

the BMW bodyshell actually fits all that crap in there, unlike the RX7 shell. a few of the quick aussie blokes have the wheel tubs sticking out of the rear hatch.

Sure, there is prolly less frontal area with a RX7, but the bimmer shell is just so cool
