Hey guys, I've finally got all of the codes on my car to go away and even passed emissions and registered! (After 7 long months)
I do have one more code that I cannot figure out: P1519
My software (I use AutoEnginuity ODB-II) gives the following description:
Oil-Condition Sensor Temperature Measurement (M62/M52/S52: 'A' Camshaft Position Actuator Bank 1)
Now I've replaced all of the following: (the 1519 code existed before these changes as well)
Complete engine wire harness
Camshaft Pos Sensor
Vanos Solenoid
Fuel Injectors
Vacuum Hoses
Secondary Air Pump+Valve
Throttle Pos Sensor
Spark Plugs
All 4 o2 sensors
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pressure Regulator
Water Pump+Thermostat+Radiator Hoses+Belts
If anyone else has had this code and was able to get rid of it I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Jordan
Anyone - come on, has nobody really thrown this code?
I am in the same boat!

I would think the "Camshaft Position Actuator"is the VANOS solenoid.
Nice.. that would make sense.
Also the lifters are making noise like if it were low on oil (it is not) and the oil is fresh with 20w50 syn.
Still that is the only code that is being thrown.
I put the car in 3rd from really low speed and floored it until it got to revs. It had plenty (alot) of power right at one and two thousand RPM, and continued to rev smooth to redline

I had the issue and found out my cam was ground improperly from Schrick. The trigger mount was roughly 6 degrees off from the midline of the cam. I ended up slotting the trigger wheel until my replacement came in.
