throw away your radar detectors. they wont work anymore. If you did not catch the news last night the highway patrol have a whole bunch of new toys. That involve a laser beam that they point at a specific car and it gives them the speed. Channel 4 nbc had the report. Chuck Henry did the report and was even using the gun himself. This type of speed detection can not be picked up on any kind of radar detector and is very accurate and easy to use.

Way I see it, it's no different than the way I got popped with instant-on radar a few months ago. He didn't have a radar gun just sitting "on", he pulled the trigger when I rounded the bend. Coulda done the same thing with a laser gun.

For that reason I do not speed on city streets. Especially when I'm the only car on the road.
