Final pics of my turbo setup - its DONE.

Ok so I started a couple lately saying hear this, see that. but it's done. I drove it for about 25 mins making a REAL rough base tune. I have to switch to resistor plugs, I believe i have non-resistors in there... not sure tho.

Runs great *knock on wood*. There you see the wastegate and dump. Yes thats oil on the ground, the drain is leaked because I was stupid and overtightened the barbed fitting into the aluminum flange plate and cracked the plate but just HAD to run the car

    Another is on the way!

Nice, but please move that dump pipe so it's further under the car and not on your oil pan. I mayyyy stop down that way late this week/weekend, I'll give you a call.

Its not near the oil pan, about 4" in front of it - its the angle.

    Acura for now :(
Very nice..I considered using the 97+ headers and making an adapter pipe like that to move the turbo up there...I kick myself for not doing it. Maybe I'll change things up and do it and sell my mani..heh.

So, is this still the old engine, or have you dropped in the new one yet?

get some of that kick ass gold heat shield stuff for your shock tower www.cdoc.com I think has it.

looks great! gota love the fresh install oil leaks! I remember on my old car I acedently diddnt use right fitting on my turbo feed line and it driped all over the place wile I was doing my open exhaust test drive. then my o2 sensor wire melted to the wastegate dump and I thought I fried my computer(heated o2sensor sent 12v through a circut that sees milivolts) but it turned out to be a blown fuse that diddnt apear to be blown when I looked at it.

man, I wish I was in your positon reaping the rewards of a lot of money and parts chasing all coming to life..

I think he's saying that he fucked his car up, he assumes your build cost a lot, and that you should use gold film shielding (which is really good stuff and is going on mine when it goes back together). I dont see how the first two points are relevant, and I wouldnt bother with the gold shield till you put the other engine in.

That's with the stock HG, right? Do you still need the crank, or are you set on your end?
