    M50 Non Vanos 10.0:1, what would .140" MLS drop to?

    I am going with the .140" regardless, but I want to know how low it will drop the M50 non vanos since the non vanos is already 10.0:1 instead of 10.5:1 like other M5x motors

    Using the spreadsheet that was made by two members a couple months back, I get 8.3969:1. That's assuming stock bore and stroke at 84/75mm respectively.

    That's nice for really big boost.

    Basically 8.4:1. How much boost could you run on pump gas (91 or 93) with that? What about using a 0.120" which drops it to 8.79:1?

    Depends on tune but I would say you could easily run 21 to maybe 24 psi with that on 93 using low timing up top. Only 17-18psi on 91 to be safe.

    I want lowest compression possible. 8.4:1 is perfect. I am going to run ~9 psi daily and was hoping 18+ in high mode

    lmao, that will change to 15 psi daily and 22 in high mode after a week.

    Just let it in...that's it...just take the ride as it travels through your veins...no, it's not heroin...it's a much much better rush yet it's much much more addicting.

    Attached is the equation used for calculating compression ratio.

    B=bore

    S=stroke

    Vc=Volume of combustion chamber, head gasket, volume from piston compression height to deck, and +/- any piston dish or dome.

    Do people really have all this info somewhere? Because I really need it. If someone has all this info for these M/S5x motors, I will send you a present.
