More than a for sale thread, this is a feeler. Let me start by saying that this car to me is my weekend therapy. I am only home 3 days a week and It gets driven about 40 miles a week and hence Im considering selling it, also to fund my next project. Built from a pristine 98,000 mile E36 M3, with all matching VIN tags, well maintained rust free car. I had the Euro 286hp 3.0 motor installed along with a Euro Evo 6 speed tranny and UUC LTW clutch kit. Euro Alacantara leather front vader seats. bilstein sport front shocks, koni SA rears, H&R race springs. Original AC Schnitzer wheels with brand new front tires, rear tires are almost new. Brand new Slotted and drilled brakes and pads all around with about 300 miles on them. ireland engineering rear trailing arm bushings. brand new control arms with bushings up front, brand new COMPLETE cooling system.... you get the idea. I have receipts for labor alone for over 5 to 6k. I have a little over 26k spent on this car and would like to get around 23k for it. Will also consider interesting trades + cash. car is in Central NJ.
The only issue is that the right front fender has a couple of scrapes on it. I didnt wanna replace it cause it is the original fender with the VIN # sticker so im still debating over if I need to replace it or fix the original. also needs an O2 sensor.
update : also includes other nice touches like 6x9 rear Inifniti speakers installed on HK bases, HK amp, Kmac Adjustable camber plates etc. im sure im missing a lot of stuff... momo front stress bar etc.

wow. you said you'd like to get 23k? That's stretching my budget....but I love Avus and I think splurging may be acceptable. how many miles on the motor? and do you have any interior shots?

I heard those engines are maintanence intensive. What assorted maintanence has been performed/will need to be performed in the near future?
Beautiful car. Do you have interior shots? I see it has an exhaust...any other modifications?

Maintenance on the Euro S50 seems no worse than the S52 motor, both of which are pretty bulletproof. I have almost 180K miles on an S52 that recently had a leakdown test between 2% and 4% on all cylinders. Engine and tranny have never been apart. S50 seems just as stout at about 100K miles. Slightly higher leakdown results, but that was expected of the Euro motor by the tech that did the test. Something to do with higher compression, etc. The Euro-specific parts ARE more expensive, but many parts/accessories are the same as the US motor. Plus, when you pop the hood on the Euro car, all those throttle bodies and shiny bits bring a smile to your face!
damn im in central jersey too.. but 23k is way out of my range..nice car though..
Sweet car!! Who decided to put that god awful red strut brace in there?
This car needs the OEM lightweight ///M strutbrace!!
