After taking delivery of her new in October of 2000', she has been pretty much completely stock with the exception of some leather Z bits & a hifi sound system. So I had to do a few little things... After all these years she is literally as new. As we have been avid auto enthusiasts & operated a prestige auto detail company I have seen the ways that so many cars are treated, neglected, & inproperly cared for. With 26,000 miles on the clock she is quite possibly the best example of any M Coupe in existence, we have won concours shows & her condition is almost unexplainable other than better than new.
The wheels are DPE R05's 19x10 & 19x8 w/ Toyo T1R 275/30 & 225/35's. The R05's are brushed aluminum centers w/ high polished lip, all with a power clear coat for easy cleanup. A UUC tuned suspension & Hawk performance Ceramic brakes finished off the package. The ride is truely as good as stock & no more squat/dive for a perfect street set-up as this baby will never see the track.
Here are some great shots taken with an amazing clear & sunny sky this past weekend with a fresh treatment of Zymol Vintage'. Yes, Vintage

Yup $1800 is what they sell it for... Although previously being in the high end detail business I have Vintage, Atlantique and a couple of others that are super sweet & cost was less than half the money. The stuff really is great & if you buy it in the Crystal case you do get refills for life. If you want one that works 90% as well & has the "pure White carnuba" then buy Titanium by Zymol, good stuff.Originally Posted by 98Z3

Jonathan, absolutely beautiful. I love to see a coupe that well kept.
I have a question. Why did you dcide to concourse the S52 and track the S54? I would anticipate the opposite, especially with PY.

being a grage queen..... the handling balance probably isn't a big deal as the car doesn't get driven hard. Visual cues are probably the biggest thing.Originally Posted by osborni

And you guys know how gentle the Nappa leather is on the seats! I have always carefully cared for the Coupe & glide over the side & back bolsters to not put any undue strain on the leather. Any passengers that I have had other than my Fiance (which is a car nut too ) I have shown them how to get in & out of the Coupe properly with out stressing the seats/leather. I have just been real anal with 'LilBadM' since new and thats why she is the Garage queen.
The PY is more of a rare specimen, although there are some relatively minor blemishes & wear that exclude this car from being a cream puff or Concours contender for me. (we just aquired Alex's PY coupe off of this board in Jan 06) Now that being said 1 week after we came back from MN in the PY, we did a full detail on the PY Coupe & won best of show at the Heathrow Colonial Park Concours. That was neat! Won last year with the baby, LilBadM
I thought we had something right, the S52 for show & the S54 for GO
Yes, this is not intended for perfect ballance. I was going to get 235 T1R fronts & they were on back order, oah well the 225's look goodNice wheels.

Any good shots of the PY around?

HOT car and nice pad. I envy you, two m coupes
I have "No" sympathy for any women who's occupation is a stripper. I think she got just what she deserved. She should have more respect for herself than to flaunt her body in front of a bunch of guys. It is like dangling a steak in front of a lion and not expect him to go after it. How stupid can she be? How did she ever get accepted to college with her lack of common sense?
Nice shots, Jon. Those wheels are very nice. Perfect fitment and properly lowered. Love the dish on the rear.
