Hi Guys,
Many of you are already know of Craig's (Alpinewhite) Turbo 325i and his personal build up. First off, we must say that for a young guy that has never done anything like this before, the turbo build, Craig did a good job and admitted that he didn't fully know what he was doing but you guys gave him some great advice and it came out pretty decent. A bad turbo and H.Gasket brought this car into our hands after he dynoed here to see how his work did. Anyway, the build snowballed into one of our custom 3" exhausts, 4" lower intake and some other new plumbing on top of a new gasket, one of our mini fuel systems and SC61 Turbo. He is still on a very restrictive charge pipe and a BS Starion IC that is really jamming things up.
Anyway, here are the preliminary results on this new build We still would like to do the IC and IC pipes and a new clutch and we estimate we could hit 440's on this car safely.
As usual, Dr. Mo Powa will follow up on the Q&A portion.

Very nice, Brian and George! Who may I ask, was responsible for those AFRs? Also, very nice..
Question: Dont the trq peaks on turbo cars usually occur alot lower than the ~5500 trq peak we see above? What accounts for your relatively elevated trq peaks here?

Damn! JUST last night I was telling user DMB882 how I couldn't wait be the first one to use an SC61 and get dyno results! Haha, oh well, that's awesome! Great results from that turbo.
What were the specs on the turbo? and how many psi? etc?
Congrats!

I can't imagine the contrast between the stock 165 whp and this...
Not bad for a 2.5
Stock motor with 108k on the clock 1994 325is, the turbo seems to pull good all the way through. The intercooler is definately a handicap in this set-up.Originally Posted by CosmoE36

Those AFRs are pretty rich with 11:1 for most of the powerband. Lean those out to 12.5:1 and you'll make even more power.
Car is not even finished yet, A least be happy that the 325's are making headway, dont be a hater.Originally Posted by carnewbie
No hating here. You know me better than that I hope George. Just offering an informed observation.Originally Posted by IMPORTEDCARS
ICS has been known to only publish completed products. This recent build has differed from that pattern. I only want the public to know that there is even "Mo Powa" to be had here.
Congrats on the numberz, looks like its not a bad idea to get a 325i sleeper nowadays.
