    Totalled my e34 (56k)

Friday night was a bad night. Was in a hurry and just didnt look when i pulled out. Unfortunatly there was a big sequoia coming my direction. it swerved to miss me but i hit it in the side.

And now the sequoia i hit

if anyone wants to buy the car as is let me know. its a 1994 530 5 speed with a little over 63k miles. But more realistically, i'll be parting it out in the near future.

Wow, this last month or so has been absolutly horrible for e34's. Im sorry to see this. Was the other driver ok (and you of course)??

And youll have better luck parting it out. e34's can yield good money when stripped down

wow glad that you're ok. If anyone wondered about an e34 for safety this should prove it. I'm interested in a few parts if you part it.

yeah everyone was ok thank god. the girl in the sequoia was taken to the hospital just for precautionary reasons, but she was fine. i'll probably have another thread when i decide to start parting her out, so when i do, let me know what you need.

Glad everyone is okay...at least the E34 did its job and kept you alive!

Fastx525ixGuy is right...we've been on a bad streak for E34 casualties lately.

Damn, how fast were you going that caused it to flip onto its side like that?

not really sure how fast i was going, but not real fast. i came to a rolling stop at the stop sign, then pulled out. i think the combination of it being top heavy and swerving to miss me caused it to become off balance, then i hit it and finished it off

Gotta love the safety engineering of BMW's

Sorry to hear about your misfortune but it looks like your bimmer held up pretty good and you even managed to snap the driveshaft on the Sequoia>Now it's time to upgrade to an M5!

    Ditto to what Mblaster said.

She might be fine right now, but keep in mind that she has lots of time to develop injuries and sue. When I rearended a person on the expressway (low speed) her car had nothing more than a few scratches on the rear bumper. No ambulances at the scene. It was written up by a State Trooper. Two years later I get dragged into court. They filed the day before the statute ran out. It dragged on for three more years. My insurance company handled all of it, but be careful.
