10.78@136.69

I finally did it The Lil 2.8 busted out a ten on its first run of the night.
I could not believe it this run felt like the rest I was thinking 11.3 to 11.5.
The bad news is I have no video of the run as my son was not there for
video (I hate going to the track by myself). The car has a little more in it
as I was again killing the rev limiter way before the finish. The new tires are about a 1/2 inch taller so I thought that and traction would bring my MPH down, I really think the car will trap 138 buts that speculation and Im not getting in to that. After the first run it started raining so they shut down.
I was hoping to get my 60ft down to last weeks 1.71 and see if I could pull a
better time the car is running great so I know I would have.

So basically thats it for a while at the track as I have a few goodies
(PPF+tec3)that I have been wanting to get on.(ICS Get ready)

George Thanks for all the help I could not have done it with out.
Andreas thank you for the tips and help
Kenny thank you for keeping drag racing stats and keeping it real
Andrew,Cameron and Andy I dont know why but you guys have the passion that I feed off of good job.

Hey I just noticed I have the high trap speed record
Maybe I can keep it for more than 12 hours this time

You deserve it and im very proud of you I will keep pushing you b/c I want you to beat me and learn to drive your car well, I will do what ever it takes to get you in the low 10's this year, even if I have to get there first and bust your balls, you will be there along side of me, and as far as high trap speed, ill brake it next time I get to the track, about 2 weeks or so. That will make you want to come back for more, push you to drive it like you stole it.

Time to change your sig, Kenny!!

Edit: Nevermind, gol10dr1's thread said 10.76. 10.78 won't do it.. it's amazing how much difference 0.02 seconds makes.

NICE!!! It's about time (sorry)!!!

I like that 60 ft. That's some serious outta-the-hole speed there.

looking forward then to the new mods and dynos.

Congratulations to the 3rd USA bimmer owner in the 10's!

Ulysses, you did it man! All the practice, part changing and hard work paid off. So nice to see you with such an awesome ET and trap under your belt. I can't wait to see what happens after the Tec 3 and new manifolds! Things are going to get very serious.

By the way, I didn't see you post any info regarding new axles or driveshaft that you had received yet. So this was on stock rear parts? Nice!

I can't wait to see you post pics with your new PPF stuff in the car!

P.S. Sorry I haven't been around but I am in South Carolina right now and finally logged on.
