Well, I've finally finished my ECU tuning. This is my daily driver so I wanted reliability to go along with a bit more power. The ECU tuning was done remotely (from Cali to Florida), so downtime was about a week. NickG did a great job! It's not the monster numbers that I've seen recently posted here in the FI forum, but I'm very happy with my results
Car pulls hard, ask M3Jokster
This is done with stock internals, cats & 91 octane. Other mods are listed in sig. 11psi - 358rwhp - 288tq

great numbers! how is that not a monster?
2.8l engine swap, aa supercharger, m50 manifold, ///m cats swap, aa catback, fan delete, cdv delete, ///m roadster shifter, 18" wheels, ///m vaders, push button ignition, bilstiens with h&r sports, clear front and back corners, depo's with thinlines and 6k prolumens
great job. may i ask how you went about this remotely? did you do dyno runs reading a/f and then send that readings along with your setup specs to NICK G and he re did the map and sent you a new map on a new chip? if this is the case then i might want to go this route..
congrats dave....
I bet you can get more juice out of that motor!

kobe8 im curious to see how much boost is sacrificed using the FMIC. Did you happen to watch the gauge?
Yea that intercooler must rob a good 2-3 psi. With a 6in and 3.12 you should be in the 14 psi range.

Thanks for the comments guys. Remote tuning was describe exactly by Mdex.
358rwhp is a monster, but recently I've seen guys here making ~400rwhp. Again, I'm very satisfied w/ my monster machine. NickG came thru again.
The intercooler drops my psi to ~2psi. I have the 6" crank & had to go with a 3.12" sc pulley to get me to 11psi. I believe on a normal setup, that pulley combo would yield ~13-14psi? All 3 pulls read 11psi on my gauge.
Just keep in mind you are 3,000 rpm from the max impeller speed on that blower. Assuming you keep the redline under 7000 that appears to be the smallest pulley you can use.

more like 1500-900rpms. If you are trying to be conservative in my opinion i would relieve some stress off the blower and increase the diameter of the blower pulley or just avoid smacking the redline (which isnt easy).Originally Posted by jmargo

did you race your bro from a stop yet?
Maybe I'm missing something, but I dont see the original dyno numbers. A retune
without baseline numbers?
Almost did 2 weeks ago but a truck turned into my lane as we were about to launch. We'll put a video up from a roll & stop when Hung gets his tuning done.Originally Posted by dinans3m3

Wow, nice gain from just a tune!
How much did the ecu tuning run you?

What was the difference in mods between the 2 tunes? You obviously weren't running the 3.5" HFM and 11psi with the stock Dinan software...
