Hey Nick, is that a Corrado under your car in the first picture? Looking good overall..
VERY Nice...
I like the boldness...I vented my WG to the atmosphere and loved it!
However, my buddy with a turbo e36 is running straight pipes and i am not a fan of the sound. It takes away fromt he motors sweet pur. I would add at least 1 mid-section but that is just me. I am also a fan of dual tips as opposed to the "318 style" single tip...
To each his own, but definitely a sweet setup! Loven the IC!
What are you using for tuning? Reason asking the BOV is venting to open air.
wow, that is gonna be sick, my car is not FI but i hope ill have it someday, but that is a nice setup, that exhaust will be sick, but i do like dual tip, good luck w/ the rest

like icemann said youll probably end up wanting some kind of muffler though when i first put mine together i ran a 3in side pipe and it was so loud people in the car couldnt take it, sounds mean as hell tho and theres nothing like the look on someones face when you downshift at a stop light and a 2 foot flame shoots out the side of your bmw
i like how the bov is mounted right on the intercooler

1995 m3 turbo best 1/4 = 12.00@123 (mad tire spin) 11.5psi (sold)
Hes using a tec3, and the straight pipes may only be temporary depending on how loud they are...
hey guys thanks for the comments.
like nonphixion said...im running the tec3. the exhaust may be a little loud, but i just wanted to hear how it sounds all 3", i might end up getting a flowmaster muffler or something like that for the end.
FastAlpine....yeah, thats a corrado. built vr6, gt35r with a S compressor...powercoated EVERYTHING too..lol. it will be one nasty car.

You do NOT want a Flowmaster muffler with a turbo car. Turbo cars prefer a "straight through" muffler (Borla, Dynomax, Magnaflow) design rather than chambered (as seen in the Flowmaster) design. The turbine itself does a good job of equalizing a lot of the exhaust pressure pulses, hence the reason turbo cars are generally quieter. Adding a resonance chamber back into the exhaust stream, especially one that blocks laminar flow, will only serve to restrict the engine. Just give the exhaust an easy path to follow (like a river/stream) and avoid the drone that comes with resonance.Originally Posted by AllEyezOnMy325

With the 3" straight pipe its neat because you can hear the turbo so much better through the exhaust... its awesome sounding.
