We've made some good progress in the past week and a half. Managing this project in house has allowed us to control all aspects of the tuning and the kit. In late October I hope to invite BMW owners to our shop for a test drive. Maybe we'll do a BMW dyno day. I'll keep you posted.
Take care,
Chris.

ooh, october is only 1 more month away! looking forward to good results. Keep up the good work HPF!
hallo everybody
keep up the good work.
this is gonna be great
I am pleased to report some good progress on our E46 turbo kits. We have overcome several of the obstacles that face many of the tuners attempting to make an M3 run in a non-linear boosted mode, as well as solutions for the drive by wire and dual vanos control. We will have dyno numbers and driveability results by the Sema Show (November 3). I plan to host a BMW dyno event in late November for those that want to get a ride in our prototype “Stage One” M3 or strap their own cars down. I would like to get a few Supercharged E46 M3’s to show up. I will post up the details in another month.
Here are some pics of JP and I and the M3 with the transplant. I will release more information over the next few weeks, but I’m keeping much of our progress and implementation secret as it will be a competitive advantage for many years to come.
We will be rolling out E46 turbo kits in the following order…
1) 2001-2006 M3 (non SMG and SMG) – final prototype completion (non SMG) 12/31/2006, release date (non SMG) 3/15/2007, SMG will be slightly following this date.
2) 2001-2005 330 i, xi, ci – 1st prototype completion 3/15/2007 for “i” model, release date for “i” model 6/15/2007, “xi” and “ci” will be staggered following these dates.
3) 2001-2005 325 i, xi, ci
4) 1999-2000 328 i, ci
5) 1999-2000 323 i, ci
6) 2000-2003 M5 (E39)
7) 2000-2002 Z8 (E52)
Have a great holiday everyone.
Take care,
Chris.

What are your plans for California's CARB?

We will not be going after CARB certification for the first year. We can, however, build the "stage one" kit in a stealth mode such that only an M3 enthusiast could tell it has been modified.

Its great to see you guys do an amazing piece of work for the E46 community.I really appreciate a company like yours going to work and simply making the impossible possible and putting other competitors to shame.Keep up the Miracle guys.It would be interesting to see howmany people will sell out their SC kits within the next 6 months.

Awesome news, can't wait till there is more turbo power!
keep us posted.
coolandmellow... It's an interesting question, and I've thought quite a bit about whether I'm ready to release this information yet. The technology we're using and the progress we've made to date is very exciting for us, but it is a competitive advantage at the moment. Other shops are also trying to make turbo kits for these cars as well. We're doing what we need to do to make sure that no one will make a kit that will outperform ours. This in regard to raw power, driveability, streetability, and capability with regard to drag racing and road racing.
We have met several milestones recently, and the last milestone we met on Friday. Progress is moving faster than I had hoped, and the real delays I've scheduled for consist of "productizing", "extended testing", "installation documentation", and the final "production" design of few assorted components.
In response to your question... I'm not sure how many people will sell their supercharger kits and switch to our turbo kits. I have spoken with several people that have told me they will make the switch. In November at our BMW dyno day, and our unveiling of the HPF M3 turbo kit, I would like to see some supercharged M3's to represent. I'm sure there are plenty that will want to show us how well their cars perform. For those that want to see how ours performs, we will definitely take people for rides in it.
lay2low... Yes, me too.
sickbimmer... will do.
Take care,
Chris.

Can't wait till I get one once released for the SMG
Great news. With regards to S/C owners converting to turbos, back in the day when S/C's were the only things available for the E36 M3, when AA released their more powerful turbo kits, quite a few people sold their S/C and went turbo. You just can't ignore the torque those turbos make, and thats what the E46 lacks most!

E90 330 Titanium Silver over Terra (Sold)
E92 335 Coupe Titanium Silver over Saddle Brown
Is it possible to put this in the FI forum too?
I can't WAIT till the M5's application! will it be single or twin turbo?
lay2low... SMG will be released at nearly the same time as the non-SMG M3 versions.
ADVANT123... I agree.
NACHTBLAU M... Thanks. We've made a lot of progress in the past months.
Schneller Bayer... I will start a new thread in the FI section once we have some dyno results.
nym3lover... As far as the stealth mode, I'm still deciding whether to do this. We have a few more decisions to make before November, and this is one of them. I'll keep you posted.
eurotunerwerks... We will probably do a twin turbo on the M5, but I'm not sure yet. I am really looking forward to getting that car into our development schedule.
Take care,
Chris.
