Continuing the much successful DYNO Day in December of 05, we are going to be doing regular DYNO Day GTGs (Get ToGethers..) for us BMW enthusiasts. We will be having it every 4-5 weeks, depending on the census of the group. December's was great, we had about 15 people say they'd be there and about 8 or 9 came - it also snowed that day so that might have something to do with it (I know at least 4 people that didn't come due to snow). Then maybe we can get pics and grab lunch after. I already know people take pictures and videos when we're there.
NEXT SCHEDULED DYNO DAY:
The next Dyno Day will be at Carb Conn - Scheduled for April 28th, 2007 Please let me know in this thread if you are interested in going to CC for the next Dyno Day there.

We will be using Carb Conn due to their amount of experience with BMWs (they've installed 3 Eurosport TSs there, and they are working on 4), and the fact that a good amount of people have taken their car there several times and want to continue to.
Carb Conn: - DynoJet Inertia Dyno - www.CarbConn.com
BASELINE RUN (includes AFRs and includes 3-5 runs until you get a good baseline)-
$75 + tax (about $81).
Carb Conn just charges a flat-fee for Dyno Day events like ours. You pay a flat fee and you get a solid baseline with AFRs, period. They do 3-5 runs to get a solid baseline. They take AFRs from the tailpipe so you don't need an O2 bung.
One other item; there will not be time for tuning on Dyno Days. Small adjustments possibly, but no changing software maps or playing with hardware. The reason we can get a half-price discount is that they can do 5+ cars at a time. To accomplish this we can't do runs and then tuning and then runs etc etc.
BTW - TELL OTHER PEOPLE IN THE AREA! IF WE GET ENOUGH PEOPLE THEN WE CAN CONSISTENTLY HAVE 5+ PEOPLE AT EVERY DYNO DAY EVERY MONTH!

I'd be interested in a Carb Conn dyno day as I want to compare it to the last run I did.
BTW, Carb Conn only uses the Dynojet on club days, the Mustang is used for rolling road tuning.
As for dates, I'm not picky so plan it and i'll work my schedule around it
Chris
Im very intrested in Carbconn. Since I have no 02 bung and dont plan on having one.

im very very interseted in this. i need to dyno after my CAI, exhuast and chip
Crap, I just called and verified that. What the hell??! They said they don't use the Mustang hardly at all, in fact almost never. He said it is hard on the drivetrain.... (so is how I drive my car!).Originally Posted by cramer
Well, that is something to consider. I guess if we go CarbConn I'll have to get another baseline before I do my chip tune.
Okay... but CarbConn or Blood Ent.?Originally Posted by bmw m3 racer
