X3, X5 & X6 (E53, E70, E71, E83) (2000 - current) BMW invented a new word when they introduced their SUVs to the world: Sport Activity Vehicle. Sportier and with more car like agility than the standard SUV, with all of the hauling perks for a more active lifestyle. Introduced in 1996, the X5 continues to be a hit. The younger sibling, the X3, was born in 2003.

Anyone got a modded X5 around here?

Just wondering, there don't seem to be too many X5 owners, but I was hoping for at least one or two examples for me to glean ideas from. If you've got one, post it up!

Someone from DTM does. I forgot his name, but it's a nice blue Hamann'd X5 over in Cali. It's very nice.

DTM's COTM for June. This is the most beautiful X5 that I know of to date. I actually had the honor of having it.......well I kind of stoled it for the weekend after West Fest II when Eric was back east for Bimmerfest East. I have so many pic's of his X...this one is my favorite pic care of Bimmermods.com........you can also get more info and pictures from.........

Wow! Sweet! Anyone know which engine it's got? Also, what are the "EngineSoftwareDownload" and "AutoTransmissionDownload" mods?

DAMN....

For that type of money it is out of control!

Go talk with Jim Powell, member JSP98M3 and see if he would be intrested in building some. He currently produces the DDE's and the Angle Eyes, but if you guys are used to paying $1.5K for halos he would love to do business with your kind and perhaps slash that price way way down...

Unfortunately, I live in Hong Kong so I would need to buy a set of right hand drive and Euro-spec lights, then ship them to the States to get the work done... I think it would go up from $2000 quickly...
