Toys 4 Tots Cruise Pictures

Ok, I didn't make it in time for the event, but as I was pulling up I saw all of the BMW's leaving, so I joined in on the cruise, followed everyone to Sav-On, then departed through the canyons. I had a blast, it is the first time I have driven those roads, I think they are great and the scenery is unbeatable, especially when to start to reach the ocean. I have a few pictures from the bmw cruise, and then most of the rest are from after I departed from the group unexpectadely. Here:

As I said we unexpectadely left the group after the run, we were all parked down at the bottom of the hill next to the beach, I was about to talk to some of you guys but then the Aston Martin Vanquish went by on its way to the canyons, I hopped into my car with my co-pilot matt and that is when we left, sorry for leaving without saying bye but I didn't want to let the Vanquish get to far away.

After a few miles of pushing my car really hard I saw the Vanquish up ahead, I pushed a little harder to catch up and I got behind him, after he noticed me behind him he got on it, we started driving very fast through the twisties, it seemed to be faster then we were going on the cruise, everytime we hit a corner I was able to catch up to him with late braking and making sure my exit speed was faster but on the longer straights he started pulling a little bit, but I kept on with the late braking and exit speed so I was able to hang with him, he told me that him and his son were just on a short cruise until they saw me behind him, then his sone told him someone is on his tail so he started to push it and we had fun. We pulled over at the bottom and he came to talk to me, he told me he usually drives this road with some of his Ferrari Buddies and they usually can't keep up with him, he was suprised that my m3 was able to hang, we talked for a few mins then he showed me the inside of the car and the sound system, that thing bumps for being stock.

Then my friend Matt drove my m3 and I rode in the Vanquish for a short bit on the canyon, that car is sooo solid, I loved it so much, those cars are really amazing, the guys son was riding with my friend matt in my m3 when I was in the Vanquish and he told Matt that his Dad has been to a few racing schools, as I could tell from the Line's he was taking on the mountain, that car was fast, if it werent for late braking, tight corners and good exit speed I would have fallen behind, he was suprised this was my first time on the road though. All I have to say is that I had a blast behind that Vanquish and riding in it, sorry guys for leaving so rudely, but that is my favorite Aston Martin. Here are some pics, props to Matt for holding the camera steady for the most part, we were bookin it through those turns, I have some video but I need to upload, so for now enjoy these pics!
