How about this, we get a meet together. When all of the KC bimmer guys used to get together a year or so ago when we were all on DTM, we would go to Hooter's on Metcalf by gallians and I-435. It's a good meeting place, and no hassle from police or anything like that.
I say maybe next weekend, of the 15th or so.
1:00 PM?
or maybe even an evening meet? That'd be nice!
Anyway, any suggestions are nice, I'd just like to get back into the game.
Let's meet up!
Post your Ideas, Let's do this!
-Ted Lindner.
Noooooooooooooo! Not the weekend of the 15th! I will be in VA.
The weekend after?
rob
I guess I'll try and show I'll bring the mommy wagon
Can I come if I'm under 18? Hope there's no age discrimination...haha

I'm interested but the 15th is no good for me
I'd like to go, but committed for the 15th also. Wide open for the next weekend.
why don't you all come out to the autocross this Sunday for a meet?
I think I will do exactly that.Originally Posted by GotCone?

Yeah. It was a great time. Everyone was a lot of fun. What were your times?Originally Posted by gottagofast13
52 or 53. I was competing in the street tire class but was pretty disappointed with my times. I couldn't get grip coming out of turns, the rear was all over the place.Originally Posted by sparkchaser

I didn't see that. You miss a lot being a spectator. I'd like to give it a whirl but I think I will spare myself the embarrasement. LOLOriginally Posted by gottagofast13
So?... are we going to try and meet the next weekend? I could come out on the 22nd, or the all German car show is the next day at the Leawood plaza thing right there near Hooters.

It's an all-German car show that is being hosted by Porsche Club, but the BMW and Audi clubs will be there in force as well. It's going to be at Town Center (119th & Roe), but we're not quite sure where it's going to be in the lot this year.Originally Posted by snaybird1000

With that in mind, you want to meet somewhere closer to car show? I am all for having a bf.c meetup on that weekend.Originally Posted by gottagofast13
This German car meet on the 23rd sounds interesting. If you find a specific time and location details please post them. If some bf.c guys want to get together on the 22nd I am available in the afternoon for something.

I like German Cars
VolksHole - VW Enthusiast Garage
Went out there this morning. It was a very neat event. The people that organized it did a great job. Good car turn out and some great cars. Mercedes probaly had the most cars, but a good turn out of bimmers also. Too bad it was so chilly that the KC Chief's cheerleaders were all wrapped up in blankets.Originally Posted by gottagofast13
You should have introduced yourself... After the sun came out two different cheer leaders came by and they werent wrapped up in the blankets.. heres a pic of Brant getting the award for his dad's M5...

I did introduce myself. I was standing right next to that guy when they announced he won, '88 M5, very nice. I liked your car too, very nice.
