Question Next SoCal Malibu Canyon Meet & Drive... what date?

Official meet date is the 30th!

Alright I have the whole thing pretty much setup but theres one thing some of us cant seem to agree on "the date". The two possible dates are Sept 25th or Oct 30th (Reason being those are the two Exotic meet dates). I beleive theres already an ///M meet going on at the end of this month so I dont really want to plan it for this month plus alot have you have said you want to do it when the heat goes down. Others really dont want to wait and want to go ahead and set it for this month as sort of an "End of summer Meet". Let me know what you guys think so we could get this going...

*New spot
*Exotic cars
*New drive route
*Definite end of the drive eating spot this time.

Also, there's a Crystal Cover Meet established a day before the proposed september date (09/24).

I was referring to the october date, i will be hung over from that saturday, it is holloween weekend!!! Thats why i pick the september one.

damn..September is catching up. One of the reasons I don't want to do September is that Rich (BMW Motorsport) was talking about setting up his ///M3 only meet at the end of this month. I don't want to step on his toes by setting up my own meet... I've already talked to him and he seems like he's going to do it.

I just got contacted by the guy who organizes the Toy for Tots event... its going to be Dec 4th in Agoura. There expecting over 1000 cars; exotics and all...he's asked me to help promote that event to the BMW crowd; I guess I'll start a thread on that late October. Should be an interesting end of the year.

Anyone have the details of where this meet is going to start, and at what time, ect yet? Or are we still deciding if it's going to take place in Sept. or Oct.
