---------------------------------------------------------------
Well its about time we get some nice Euro cars together out in Malibu again. I'm thinking a nice BMW (or Euro) Malibu meet where we had the last M3 Malibu meet would be nice. Some of you who have been to the last ones know how sweet of a meet it could be if a lot of people come out. Same old routine; we have an hour meet/ photo shoot and then we could have two "optional" events... some people can go on a PCH city cruise and the canyon junkies can go do their Malibu canyon runs.
So once again if there's enough interest the details would be:
When: Sunday August 28th
Time: 12 pm sharp!!!
Leave at 1 p.m. for a cruise down PCH (and maybe a city cruise) and those of you who want to test out your suspensions can cruise the canyons.
Meeting would be at the back of the Ralph's parking lot on PCH (like before)
Ralph's "Malibu Colony Plaza" on PCH
23841 W. Malibu Rd. Malibu CA. 90265
Google Map --->http://maps.google.com/maps?q=23841+...5779&t=k&hl=en
Invite: Anyone with a Euro car (old school; new school; BMW; Audi; Porsche;..whatever) and a cool atitude that wants to come out and enjoy a nice sunny day with fellow euro junkies.
NECESSITIES:
Walkie Talkies
Plenty of Gas
Check Oil
Check Water Level
Check Tire Pressure
Check Lug Nuts
Drinking Water
Digital Cameras
Video Cameras
AAA CARDS
WARNINGS:
THIS IS NOT A RACE!!!! NO SHOWING OFF OR JUMPING THE DOUBLE YELLOW LINE onto oncoming traffic. Remember that these are public roads and please consider the lives of others.
Comments; suggestions welcomed....
Lets do this ladies and gents

By the way people I’m simply a fellow forum member that wanted to get some nice cars out in Malibu for another sweet gathering. I am by no means the meet commander, I’m just one of the guys… me starting this thread was in the hopes that a bunch of us would get together and plan something nice (a group event). I didn’t even think there would be more than 20 people attending but now it’s getting bigger by the moment… I’m a little worried about the parking but hey if there’s no parking left its not my fault. (First come first serve, so show up early)
Another thing – As far as the Canyon cruise (which is “optional” – you do not have to go), please be safe up there people. This is NOT a race and you have nothing to prove, just go and have fun. For those of you who plan on participating, if your car is not up to par (meaning tires and suspension and driver is not up to standards or you’ve never done it before) please consider planning a city cruise at the event and not doing the canyon cruise. Those of you that have been to previous canyon cruises pretty much know how it goes. The leaders (or people at the front) are the aggressive canyon drivers who love to fly through the canyons at high speeds and do not like people moving slowly. So I suggest that if you follow the canyon group you find your proper place in the line; meaning if you don’t want to go nuts or your car cant handle it STAY IN THE BACK and please go slow. The last thing we want is for anyone to get hurt or damage their property; that’s why I’m advising that you do not go on the canyon cruise. I am by no means responsible for anyone’s property or stupidity so if you plan on being stupid I ask that you please not attend.
One last thing – RESPECT! RESPECT! RESPECT!… everyone please leave you ego’s at home and just plan on enjoying the day with fellow enthusiasts and treating others the way you would like to be treated.
The canyon cruise and city cruise route will be determined at the meet by the group (or by vote) so those of you that are more familiar with the canyons and city please suggest something at the meet. (this also allows us to re-adjust our route if theres too much fuzz).
There are now 2 events that are also happening after the meet..
1. BigmansM's Barbeque ((CANCELLED))
2. Euroday Sunday http://www.motorsportsunday.com/ that other people have suggested.
(or you could always go home, but whats the fun in that)

Sounds like fun.
I'll probably show up, maybe in an Audi TT.
i am so down for this, even though malibu is like 1.5 hours (w/o traffic), however, since it is on a sunday, traffic shouldnt be a problem, see you guys there, hopefully the turnout is better than most other meets ive been to.

If the turn out is good enough...I'll show. Don't wanna end up driving 1.5 hours for 10 cars.
I can assure you I will be there. I was one of the 4 that showed in LA.

Either way, I'll be in malibu on the 21st, but was planning on doing a run with some 350Zs.
Actually, I think they're meeting in the same lot at about the same time.
Just checked and the 350 guys are meeting earlier in that lot. Hmm, maybe I can make both runs.
i'm so down for this, hopefully my car isnt in the shop though.
I'm in.
Ill check the schedule, sounds like a good idea.
sounds like im gonna have to be there, maybe ill have new tires by then
Still awaiting for the original poster to approve my request. If not look the for bbq thread to pop up in a day or two
Maybe one of these days I'll have a Euro car again, & then I could come to these gtgs . Not likely to happen in the near future though. Have fun without me.
Right you are Ken!
