who here has a bimmerforum.com sticker on their ride? It doesn't seem like many do so if you have one, show us a pic of it!

The decal goes on all as one, not "one letter at a time." It goes on the exterior face of the glass or metal and should be installed in warm weather, if possible, for best adhesion. You should clean the mounting area of wax, dirt, etc, with an alcohol rub and then let it dry thoroughly before applying the decal. If the weather is below 60 degrees F, you can try warming the mounting area up a bit with a hair dryer.

When the mounting area is ready, just carefully seperate the thinner covering paper from the thicker cardstock backing, making sure that the lettering adheres to the thinner covering paper, you'll probably need to get it started at a corner with a fingernail or something. You then press the covering paper/decal lettering onto your mounting surface exactly in the final location. Rub the backside of the covering paper with your thumb back and forth a few times, then gently pull back the covering paper from the decal lettering, making sure the lettering remains adhered to the mounting surface. If a letter or two tries to pull away with the paper, just press it back down and rub the paper with your thumb a few more times.

There are some regional sections which are pretty active. Mid Atlantic & South East are good examples.

if someone paid me to advertise for them, i would put a sticker on my back windshield.

i dont understand the members paying for the sticker... do nhl/nba/nfl/mlb clubs pay the advertisers or do the advertisers pay the clubs/stadiums/arenas to allow them to advertise on their ice/boards/walls.
